3D

Sometimes, I work in the 3rd Dimension. Below you can find some example of assets and environments I’ve worked on during my career.

This character never got a name, but it was designed originally for a project I was going to work on with some friends that never took off due to life being, well, life. It was fun to revisit the design though and build it in Blender, just for fun!

If you haven't seen it already, check out my Character Design area for the original 2D design and other possible variations I explored!

Best Fiends Stars: World Map

I created all the initial world map segments for Best Fiends Stars using Blender; unwrapping, texturing and (where necessary) animating. Effects (and simpler animations) were added later in Unity.

This video is a run-through of my favourite sections that I created.

Sometimes I’ll use Blender to create renders of objects I’ll use elsewhere, especially if I want to quickly play around with many perspectives. This one, for example, was originally used in a character design for a toy held by Beatrice (a Fiend in Best Fiends).

Here I’ve taken it a step further to add materials and animation to give it a bit more life separate from the character.
